Welcome to Starsynq (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and website.

1. Information We Collect

• Date of birth (for astrology calculations)
• Location (optional, for personalized predictions)

b. Usage Data

• App usage behavior
• Device information (model, OS, IP address)
• Interaction data within the app

c. Payment Information

• Payments are processed via Apple App Store or Google Play.
• We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide personalized astrology readings and predictions.
• Improve the app's features, accuracy, and user experience.
• Communicate updates, offers, and support messages.
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only with:

• Trusted third-party service providers (e.g., analytics, cloud hosting) bound by confidentiality.
• Authorities when required by law.

4. Artificial Intelligence

Some features — the written answers in Ask StarSynq, and the interpretation text in our reports — are composed with the help of third-party artificial intelligence providers. To produce that text we send:

• the question you asked, and
• your astrological chart: planetary positions, houses and periods.

We do not send your name, email address, phone number or exact birth address to these providers.

These providers process the text and return it to us. Under our agreements with them, they do not use your data to train their models. We ask for your explicit permission in the app before your first question is sent, and the rest of the app — your chart, your daily timing and compatibility, all calculated on our own servers — continues to work if you decline.

Astrological readings are for guidance and reflection only. They are not professional medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.

5. How Long We Keep Your Data

• Your profile and birth details: until you delete your account.
• Your questions and the answers given: kept in an encrypted record for up to seven years, so that we can respond to complaints, disputes and legal obligations about advice we have given.
• Saved compatibility matches and reports: until you delete them, or delete your account.
• Payment records: as required by tax and accounting law.

Deleting your account erases your profile, saved matches and chat history. It does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription — you must cancel that with Apple or Google directly, or you will continue to be charged.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices

• You can update or delete your profile within the app.
• You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
• You can request deletion of your data by contacting us at info@starsynq.ai.

8. Children's Privacy

Starsynq is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
